Paintings Over the years I have had quite a travel lust. This is how I stumbled into importing from overseas. During my travels I began documenting my good times with fine art that I bought for my own collection. When I approached the end of Rhythm-Roots I decided to start importing original paintings from my favorite artists. These artists and some of their available paintings can be seen at JLGalleries.com. I felt it would be nice here on JohnnieChester.com to put up some of my own collection to show that I am not just the president of JLGalleries, I'm also a client. The Johnnie Chester Collection One of my favorite painters is Jason Monet who lives in Bali, Indonesia. He does a fair amount of sculpting in bamboo to promote it as an alternative to hard wood which grows much slower. Jason promelgates the bamboo to help save rainforests and to assist S.O.S.
